What is Mikayla’s Grace? Mikayla’s Grace Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit founded in 2011 by Melissa and Mike Terrill after they experienced the death of their second child, Mikayla Grace. She was born prematurely at 24 weeks 6 days on June 13, 2010 and lived in the NICU for two days before passing away from complications of prematurity. The organization supports families with a baby in the NICU and those who experience the death of an infant at Madison Area hospitals by providing NICU care packages and angel memory boxes. Mikayla's Grace made their first donation to St. Mary's Hospital on June 24, 2011. The hospital received 14 angel memory boxes and 20 NICU care packages with this first donation.
